About The Position
Liliha Healthcare Center is currently seeking a dedicated Dietary Aide/Dishwasher to join our Culinary Services department. This position is essential in ensuring that our residents receive high-quality dining experiences that cater to their specific needs. The role involves preparing the dining room for meal service, pouring drinks, and assembling meal trays with food items during service. The Dietary Aide/Dishwasher will also be responsible for ensuring that the dining needs of residents are met promptly and efficiently. Cleaning tasks for the dining area and serving stations are also part of the scheduled responsibilities. This position offers a flexible schedule with both part-time and full-time opportunities available, and we are currently offering a $1,000 sign-on bonus to new hires. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to working with geriatric residents and understanding their unique needs. A current food handler permit is required, along with a recent TB test and health assessment. The Dietary Aide/Dishwasher must be able to follow directions, cooperate with co-workers, and perform assigned tasks effectively. Clear communication with residents, families, and staff is essential, as is the ability to follow supervisor directions. This role is vital in maintaining a fun and engaging work environment while ensuring that all dining services are executed with the utmost care and attention to detail.
