About the position
The Dietary Aide at The Palmerton, an Inspirit Senior Living Community, is a part-time role focused on food preparation, service, and maintaining dietary equipment in a sanitary condition. This position plays a vital role in enhancing the dining experience for residents while upholding the community's values of integrity, compassion, and love. The role requires working evening shifts from 4pm to 8pm, with rotating weekends and holidays.
Responsibilities
- Prepare food according to approved menus.
- Assemble and distribute meal trays to residents per community policy and serve residents in the dining room.
- Perform daily and periodic sanitation activities, ensuring cleanliness and safety standards are met.
- Contribute to the effective operations of the department by demonstrating dependability in job performance.
- Demonstrate commitment to the Mission, Vision, and Values of Inspirit Senior Living.
- Collaborate with all staff to maintain the safety and security of everyone in the community.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Dietary department experience preferred.
- Customer service skills.
- Knowledge of sanitation practices.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends.
