About the position
St. Luke Lutheran Community is seeking compassionate and dependable Dietary Aides for full and part-time positions at their North Canton campus. The role involves assisting with various tasks in the Dietary Department, including serving food, dishwashing, cleaning, and preparation of supplies under the supervision of the Dietary Manager. This position is essential for maintaining a high standard of service and care for residents.
Responsibilities
- Serve food to residents and ensure proper portioning.
- Wash dishes and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen area.
- Clean and bus tables after meals.
- Prepare supplies and stock necessary items for food service.
- Assist in maintaining a sanitary environment in compliance with health regulations.
Requirements
- Minimum 10th grade education and at least 16 years of age.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with residents and staff.
- Compassionate and empathetic attitude towards residents and their families.
- Ability to switch tasks and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail.
