About the position
The Dietary Aide is responsible for assisting in the preparation and serving of food to residents, ensuring cleanliness in dining areas, and supporting the dietary department in various tasks as assigned by the Director of Dietary. This role is essential in maintaining a high standard of food service and hygiene within the facility.
Responsibilities
- Portioning and serving of food items
- Delivering of trays and carts to resident floors
- Cleaning of dining rooms
- Working on the tray line
- Working in the dish room and pot sink
- Sweeping and mopping
- Disposal of trash and recyclables
- Per Diem Duties as outlined by Director of Dietary
