About The Position

Position Summary: An aide may assist in preparation, service and cleaning required for the patient tray line and the cafeteria food service. This is a part time as needed position. Must be willing to work 12 hours shifts. 6 a.m. - 6p.m. including weekends!

Requirements

• Must realize the importance of proper food preparation according to given recipes
• Concern for cleanliness
• Observe routine work schedules
• Follow the System and departmental operating procedures
• Ability to carry through to completion assigned tasks
• Ability to exercise initiative and sound judgment

Nice To Haves

• Previous food service experience in a hospital or extended care facility is desirable but not required
