About the position

As a Dietary Aide at our assisted living community, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that residents receive meals tailored to their specific dietary needs. This position involves working as part of the Dietary team to transport food, maintain kitchen cleanliness, and support the overall dining experience for residents.

Responsibilities

• Transport hot and cold foods to residents
• Wash and store kitchen equipment
• Maintain kitchen equipment and work area in a safe and sanitary condition
• Clean and wash equipment, including utensils
• Clean and sanitize the kitchen to close in the evenings if required
• Bus tables

Requirements

• Ability to follow dietary guidelines and instructions
• Strong communication skills
• Attention to detail
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices

Nice-to-haves

• Previous experience in a dietary aide or similar role
