About the position
The Dietary Services Manager at Bellbrook Health and Rehab is responsible for overseeing the dietary staff and ensuring the delivery of high-quality food services to residents. This role involves developing menus that cater to residents' dietary needs, monitoring nutritional assessments, and maintaining compliance with relevant regulations. The manager will also handle inventory management and budgeting for dietary supplies, contributing to the overall well-being of the residents.
Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise dietary staff, ensuring high standards of food safety and sanitation.
- Develop and implement menus that meet residents' dietary needs and preferences.
- Monitor nutritional assessments and collaborate with healthcare staff to provide personalized dietary care.
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local regulations regarding dietary services.
- Manage inventory, ordering, and budgeting for dietary supplies.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, or a related field preferred.
- Previous experience in dietary services management, preferably in a long-term care setting.
- Strong knowledge of nutrition and food service regulations.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
