About the position
The Dietitian MA-R SEIU position at Providence Swedish is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Women, Infants, and Children Supplemental Food Program (WIC). This role involves providing professional nutritional services to women, infants, and children enrolled in the program, including the development, coordination, implementation, provision, and evaluation of WIC services. The position requires both in-clinic and remote service delivery, emphasizing a patient-focused approach to care.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of the WIC program.
- Provide professional nutritional services to enrolled clients.
- Develop, coordinate, and implement WIC services.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of WIC services provided.
- Deliver services both in-clinic and remotely.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Dietetics.
- Completion of an ACEND accredited program.
- Washington Dietitian Certification upon hire.
- National CDR Registered Dietitian certification upon hire.
- National Provider BLS certification from the American Heart Association upon hire.
- Washington Medical Assistant Registration within 60 days of hire.
- 1 year of nutritional experience, preferably in an ambulatory care setting or community health.
