About the position

The Dietitian PRN at Orlando Rehabilitation Hospital is responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating nutritional services and care for inpatients. This role involves establishing policies and procedures for patient nutritional care, supporting the Food Services and Nursing Departments with education regarding nutritional care, and assisting in the establishment of food safety and sanitation policies.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, and coordinate nutritional services and care for inpatients.
• Establish policies and procedures for patient nutritional care.
• Support Food Services and Nursing Departments with education regarding patient nutritional care.
• Assist in establishing policies and procedures for food safety and sanitation.

Requirements

• Licensed Dietitian with the State Board of Examiners of Dietitians.
• Registered Dietitian with the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.

Nice-to-haves
