About the position

Wells Fargo is seeking a professional to join the Commercial Banking/Corporate & Investment Banking (CB/CIB) Digital Activation Strategy Team. This team is a smaller group within the broader CB/CIB Digital Client Lifecycle Management organization, focusing on developing, implementing, and tracking strategies that enhance the adoption and engagement of our digital solutions. The team collaborates with various departments across CB/CIB Digital, the Strategy, Digital and Innovation (SDI) team, and beyond to drive the development, launch, and adoption of best-in-class products, services, and capabilities for both clients and employees. The work involves performing industry and competitive research, leveraging quantitative and qualitative data to identify opportunities, and supporting the delivery and execution of key activation programs. In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing and analyzing content related to strategy creation, customer experience, data analytics, market research, and digital product management. You will leverage both qualitative and quantitative analysis to identify barriers to digital activation and promote paths to digitization of service cases through training and product recommendations. The ultimate goal is to increase digital enrollment and activation levels for high-priority products and populations. You will work across teams within the CB/CIB Digital environment and the larger enterprise to identify opportunities for new digital activation initiatives, including business plans and programs. This position requires exercising independent judgment to support strategy engagements and developing expertise in digital initiatives, policies, and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Review and analyze basic content for strategy/creation, customer experience, data/analytics, market research, or digital product/portfolio management.
  • Leverage qualitative and quantitative analysis to identify blockers to digital activation.
  • Identify drivers of service call volumes and promote paths to digitization of the service cases through training, enablement, and product recommendations.
  • Increase digital enrollment and activation levels for high priority products and populations.
  • Work across teams within the CB/CIB Digital environment as well as within the larger enterprise.
  • Identify opportunities for new CB/CIB Digital Activation initiatives, including digital business plans, programs, and initiatives within scope of responsibilities.
  • Exercise independent judgment to support strategy engagements across CB CIB Digital teams and gain experience to lead smaller or shorter-term engagements.
  • Develop expertise in digital initiatives, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.

Requirements

  • 4+ years experience in digital product management, digital strategy, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education.

Nice-to-haves

  • Previous experience at a strategy consulting firm or digital/corporate strategy within Financial Services, FinTech, or Big Tech.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and across all organizational levels, where flexibility, collaboration, and adaptability are important.
  • Ability to synthesize complex topics, independent quantitative and qualitative analysis, and competitive insights into a cohesive story for senior leadership.
  • Strong problem solving and decision making skills including the ability to perform quantitative and qualitative analysis and comfort working through ambiguity.
  • Knowledge of and interest in digital financial technologies.
  • Strong Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel skills.
  • Strong ownership mindset and sense of urgency.
