About the position

The Digital Ad Operations Coordinator at Cumulus Media is a pivotal role within the Digital Ad Ops team, responsible for the accurate and efficient trafficking of digital ad campaigns for the Cumulus Podcast Network. This position is fully remote and reports directly to the Director of Digital Ad Ops. The coordinator will play a crucial role in managing podcast and streaming campaigns, ensuring that they are set up correctly and optimized for performance. The ideal candidate will be proactive, customer-centric, and possess a strong desire to learn and improve in the field of Digital Ad Operations. In this role, the coordinator will create, traffic, and manage campaigns sold by the Cumulus Podcast Network, driving best-in-class customer service for both internal and external clients. They will support Account Managers in managing campaigns based on seller input and will be responsible for proactive campaign setup, tag management, and creative updates. The coordinator will also work collaboratively with diverse teams across the company to achieve strategic digital operations objectives and provide support for monthly and quarterly reporting requirements of the Podcast Ad Ops team. The position requires the ability to efficiently manage multiple projects while maintaining organization and prioritizing tasks based on urgency and importance. The Digital Ad Operations Coordinator will be expected to bring a positive attitude and a commitment to continuous improvement in digital ad operations, contributing to the overall success of the team and the company.

Responsibilities

  • Create, traffic, and manage podcast or streaming campaigns sold by the Cumulus Podcast Network.
  • Drive best-in-class customer service for internal and external customers.
  • Support Account Managers to manage campaigns based on sellers.
  • Be proactive with campaign setup, tag management, and creative updates.
  • Collaborate with diverse teams across the company to achieve strategic digital operations objectives.
  • Provide support for monthly and quarterly reporting requirements of the Podcast Ad Ops team.
  • Efficiently manage multiple projects, maintaining organization and prioritizing tasks based on urgency and importance.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in digital media required.
  • BA/BS degree in a relevant field highly preferred.
  • Prior experience or knowledge with digital and streaming platforms, including Megaphone, Adswizz, Triton/Omny, with Google Ad Manager a plus.
  • Independent worker with the ability to self-manage tasks and deadlines.
  • Exposure to and engagement with industry trends in streaming audio, web technologies, and applications.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of presenting updates to a diverse audience of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Effective time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and meet multiple deadlines.
  • Aptitude for cross-functional teamwork and collaboration.
  • Ability to flourish in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
