About the position

The Digital and Social Media Marketing Manager (DSMMM) at The Lundquist Institute (TLI) is responsible for developing and implementing strategic marketing and communications initiatives that support the organization's mission. This role focuses on content creation, social media management, website oversight, and project management, aiming to engage diverse audiences and enhance the Institute's brand and community engagement. The DSMMM will collaborate across the organization to produce high-quality content for various platforms and will report to the Senior Director of Communications and Marketing.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage a content calendar for timely external communications.
  • Utilize tools like Adobe Creative Suite and Mailchimp to create engaging materials.
  • Manage and maintain the organization's photo and video library.
  • Perform basic image editing using Adobe Photoshop or Creative Suite.
  • Ensure all designs adhere to TLI's brand identity and guidelines.
  • Develop and implement social media strategies to drive engagement and contributions.
  • Monitor and analyze social media trends and performance metrics.
  • Oversee and execute web content updates and optimizations.
  • Collaborate with internal teams for digital storytelling and content enhancement.
  • Participate in continuous learning and team development.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
  • Previous experience in digital marketing or social media marketing.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing strategies and trends.
  • Proficiency in social media platforms and analytics tools.
  • Excellent communication and writing skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Knowledge of SEO, SEM, and email marketing techniques.

Benefits

  • Competitive salary range of $95,000 - $115,000 per year.
