About the position

The Digital Asset Management Administrator at New Balance is responsible for the overall management and governance of the Digital Asset Management (DAM) platform. This role involves overseeing the creation, implementation, maintenance, and management of digital content workflows, ensuring high standards of data and visual quality. The administrator will collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance the DAM system, support technical requirements, and drive process improvements, contributing to the brand's digital transformation and customer experience.

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day operations and governance of the DAM platform.
  • Ensure proper creation, implementation, availability, maintenance, and management of DAM content and workflows.
  • Collaborate with internal customers and cross-functional stakeholders to execute the DAM vision and brand requirements.
  • Lead ideation and requirements gathering for platform development and new feature launches.
  • Maintain best practices in asset management and contribute to standards and governance.
  • Stay informed about the latest DAM technology trends and innovations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field required.
  • Master of Library and Information Science (MLIS) degree preferred.
  • 3-5 years of direct experience as a DAM system Admin, Content Librarian, or similar role.
  • Experience working with DAM platforms, with WIDEN experience desirable.
  • Strong data management and analytical skills.
  • Proactive problem solver with good organizational skills.
  • Ability to establish and enforce standards.
  • Comfortable with APIs, data entry, and reporting.
  • Strong grasp of digital asset management fundamentals.

  • Experience with digital asset management technology trends and innovations.
  • Familiarity with industry best practices in asset management.
