About the position
The Digital Asset Management Administrator at New Balance is responsible for the overall management and governance of the Digital Asset Management (DAM) platform. This role involves overseeing the creation, implementation, and maintenance of digital content workflows, ensuring high standards of data and visual quality. The administrator collaborates with cross-functional teams to support the brand's digital transformation and enhance the DAM system's functionalities, ultimately aiming to create a seamless brand experience for internal and external stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day operations and governance of the DAM platform.
- Collaborate with internal customers to ensure successful implementation and maintenance of the DAM.
- Interface with key partners and stakeholders to support the execution of the DAM vision and brand requirements.
- Lead ideation and requirements gathering for platform development and enhancements.
- Maintain best practices in asset management and contribute to industry standards and governance.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field required.
- Master of Library and Information Science (MLIS) degree preferred.
- 3-5 years of direct experience as a DAM system Admin, Content Librarian, or similar role.
- Experience working with DAM platforms, experience with WIDEN desirable.
- Strong data management and analytical skills.
- Proactive problem solver with good written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to establish and enforce standards in asset management.
- Comfortable with APIs, data entry, and reporting.
