About the position

The Digital Asset Management Librarian will manage, streamline, and optimize digital content to ensure brand consistency and effective messaging. This role involves maintaining a single source of truth for digital content, enhancing user experience, and supporting internal teams and external partners in the effective use of digital assets.

Responsibilities

  • Manage digital content in the Digital Asset Management (DAM) platform, including uploading, taxonomy management, metadata tagging, asset aggregation, and search/indexing.
  • Communicate and promote content standards, provide training, and answer questions from the end user community about asset availability.
  • Serve as the Brand Experience point of contact for internal teams and external partners to ensure effective tagging, ingestion, and archiving of assets.
  • Aid in establishing DAM asset lifecycle management processes and monitor assets for adherence to standards.
  • Assist with upload tagging and research inquiries, solving issues or delegating tasks as necessary.
  • Complete migration projects, divestitures, and other special projects as directed by the BX Operations Manager.
  • Partner with the DAM Librarian and others to drive adoption across marketing and train users on digital asset management processes and best practices.
  • Provide reports on content usage and user interactions with the DAM platform as requested.
  • Troubleshoot content or platform-related issues that prevent users from accessing needed assets.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Library Information Science or a combination of relevant education, experience, and training.
  • 1-3 years of digital asset management experience with enterprise-level DAM, taxonomy management, and metadata tagging.
  • Knowledge of various file formats and specifications, including still images, video, social media, 3D, and web content.
  • Solid knowledge of web publishing, content management systems, and Digital Rights Management (DRM) best practices/standards.
  • Ability to work with Microsoft Office Suite, Google Analytics, JIRA, or other project management tools, and a basic understanding of SEO.
  • Well-organized with attention to detail in a fast-paced environment, capable of managing own workload independently.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively in a global cross-functional team environment.

Nice-to-haves

  • Background in food content or food-related taxonomies.
  • Experience or knowledge of AI tagging concepts/tools.
  • Experience in a corporate setting.
