About the position

The Digital Asset Management (DAM) Specialist plays a crucial role in supporting the management of the current Digital Asset Management system within the Creative Services team. This team services multiple cross-functional teams that handle creative assets, ensuring that all digital assets are managed effectively and adhere to clear standards. The DAM Specialist is responsible for the proper management of digital assets in the DAM system and ensuring their integration with other applications. This position will also support the evolution and enhancements of the DAM system by optimizing user workflows, developing a global taxonomy, and establishing metadata standards while maintaining best practices for digital asset management governance. In this role, the DAM Specialist will be tasked with ingesting incoming assets and ensuring that they meet established standards regarding format, size, licensing information, and any other relevant data. The specialist will process metadata for both batch and individual assets to ensure that all meaningful data and search terms are captured accurately. Collaboration with project owners of the assets is essential to determine user access levels and to track any adjustments made. Additionally, the DAM Specialist will ensure that any licensing information related to assets is captured in the metadata, curate, and manage asset collections on the homepage of the DAM system, ensuring a seamless user experience.

Responsibilities

  • Support the management of the current Digital Asset Management (DAM) system.

Requirements

  • Experience in asset management and digital asset management.
  • Proficiency with asset inventory and asset management software.
  • Strong understanding of taxonomy and metadata standards.
