About the position

The Digital Asset Technician role at Walmart involves supporting and overseeing the repair and maintenance of specialized equipment, particularly alpha bots, within a fast-paced fulfillment center environment. This position requires a diverse skill set in electronics, networking, electrical work, mechatronics, and robotics, and is essential for ensuring the operational efficiency of critical equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform major and minor repairs on specialized equipment and critical systems.
• Inspect, operate, or test equipment or systems to diagnose problems.
• Dismantle equipment, machines, or systems to access and remove defective parts.
• Diagnose problems using blueprints, repair manuals, or parts catalogs as necessary.
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, hoists, and other equipment for repairs.
• Provide prompt response to emergency calls.
• Document repair activities and maintenance schedules.

Requirements

• Experience in maintenance and repair of electronic and robotic systems.
• Strong skills in electronics, networking, electrical work, mechatronics, and robotics.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and repair manuals.
• Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with preventive maintenance schedules.
• Familiarity with inventory management for repair parts.
