About the position

The Digital Assets Product Manager at DTCC plays a crucial role in designing, developing, and launching a suite of digital asset products. This position requires a blend of business analysis and communication skills to effectively gather and articulate business requirements for both internal and external stakeholders. The Product Manager will be responsible for demonstrating the business value of the products and detailing the specific functionalities that these products will offer in the market. This role involves leading multiple internal meetings and representing the company in various industry forums focused on new initiatives and projects. Additionally, the Product Manager will support the product management lead in facilitating external working groups that consist of major industry participants, providing insights on requirements and design options. In this role, you will collaborate closely with technology, sales, and marketing teams to deliver new capabilities and enhancements, while also developing strategies to build community around new product and service offerings. You will be tasked with translating customer needs into clear and actionable technical specifications, managing the entire product lifecycle from concept to launch and beyond. Monitoring market trends and competition will be essential to identify new opportunities and inform product strategy. Ensuring that products meet quality standards and comply with regulatory requirements is also a key responsibility. You will oversee project deliverables, coordinating efforts across various functional areas to ensure timely and budget-compliant project completion, while also monitoring project budgets and identifying potential risks. The Digital Assets Product Manager will also assist in product training efforts for all stakeholders, including internal and external customers, through documentation, publications, e-training tools, and FAQs. This position is not limited to the responsibilities outlined above, as the role may evolve with the needs of the organization and the market.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with technology, sales, and marketing on delivering new capabilities and enhancements.
  • Translate customer needs into clear and actionable technical specifications.
  • Manage the entire product lifecycle, from concept to launch and beyond.
  • Monitor market trends and competition to identify new opportunities and inform product strategy.
  • Ensure products meet quality standards and stay in sync with regulatory requirements.
  • Manage achievement of project deliverables, including coordination of efforts across a variety of functional areas.
  • Monitor project budgets for specific initiatives/projects and identify potential risks.
  • Assist in product training efforts for all touchpoints to both internal and external customers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Strong background in financial services/capital markets.
  • Strong knowledge of alternative investments - private equity funds, private placements, etc.
  • Solid understanding of the full lifecycle of alternative investments.
  • Technical background with knowledge of blockchain technology and distributed systems.
  • Experience as a Technical Product Manager or similar role in a software development environment.
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and product management tools such as JIRA.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Strong communication and leadership abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
