We are currently seeking a Digital Associate Creative Director who will play a pivotal role in leading collaboration among graphic designers, user experience (UX) designers, and art directors. This position requires a hands-on approach to the digital development process, as well as the ability to mentor and guide junior and senior digital designers and art directors in their professional growth. The ideal candidate will oversee the production of digital products across various mediums, ensuring that creative strategies and outputs are cohesive and effectively translated into final products. In this role, you will assist in managing workflow, resources, and budgets for digital projects, while generating innovative and strategic designs that drive creative outputs. You will be responsible for creating and approving digital content, wireframes, and designs under the direction of the creative director. Additionally, you will consult with senior staff regarding capacity, resources, training, and needs in the digital space, while overseeing the professional development of junior digital staff. Staying abreast of industry trends will also be a key aspect of your responsibilities.

Responsibilities

  • Help oversee production of digital product across mediums.
  • Guide creative strategy and output on digital products, ensuring cohesive product and translation.
  • Assist in managing workflow, resources, and budgets on digital products.
  • Generate innovative, strategic, and conceptual designs to drive creative digital outputs.
  • Create and approve digital content, wireframes, and designs under direction of the creative director.
  • Consult with senior staff on capacity, resources, training, and resource needs in digital space.
  • Oversee professional development of junior digital staff.
  • Stay on top of industry trends.

Requirements

  • 8 years experience in graphic design or other related fields.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of experience in areas such as graphic design, advertising, or marketing.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop and InDesign.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Figma and/or other relevant online design or CMS platforms.
  • Proficiency in design and management of design for websites, apps, digital display, and other digital products.
  • Proficiency in animation programs such as Adobe Animate and Final Cut Pro.
  • Creative problem solving.

  • Time management.
  • Ability to manage dynamic workload.
  • Government experience is a plus.
  • Understands federal guidelines around Section 508 compliance and accessibility.
