About the position

As a Digital Assurance and Transparency professional at PwC, you will be part of a team that focuses on delivering quality, tech-enabled solutions that enhance trust and transparency for clients. This role involves working closely with clients and internal teams to understand their systems and technologies, helping them mitigate risks while leveraging advanced analytics and automation tools. Responsibilities

  • Assist clients in developing data, analytics, and technology solutions.
  • Work closely with clients to understand their systems and technologies.
  • Mitigate risks associated with clients' operations.
  • Lead revenue automation consulting for clients, ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
  • Implement revenue recognition systems and validate processes.
  • Conduct detailed reviews of existing revenue recognition processes and systems.
  • Prepare test strategies and conduct various testing phases including unit and user acceptance testing.
  • Support external audit activities related to revenue recognition.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Management Information Systems, or related fields.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in consulting, data analysis, compliance, or risk, with a focus on revenue recognition.
  • Extensive knowledge of revenue recognition principles and accounting standards, including ASC 606/IFRS 15.
  • Experience leading revenue system implementations and data conversions.
  • Strong analytical skills to assess complex issues and identify solutions.
  • Ability to communicate complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and revenue management systems.

Nice-to-haves

  • Master of Business Administration or related advanced degree.
  • CPA certification preferred.
  • Experience with Alteryx, SQL, and Microsoft Visio.
