About the position

The Digital Banking Product Manager at Comerica will play a pivotal role in overseeing a specific product or a portfolio of products within the bank's digital banking sector. This position is designed for a seasoned professional who will lead the development and implementation of strategies for assigned products, ensuring they align with the bank's overall objectives. The Product Manager will be responsible for product design and development, pricing strategies, profitability analysis, product enhancements, competitive positioning, and integration into the sales planning process. This role may also involve team leadership responsibilities, guiding a small group of co-workers on specific strategic initiatives and projects. In this capacity, the Product Manager will engage in various aspects of product management, including developing and implementing product strategies, making recommendations for product enhancements, and managing product pricing related to interest rates and fees. The individual will also oversee competitive positioning and ensure that products are effectively integrated into the sales process. Performance management will be crucial, as the Product Manager will be expected to monitor and report on key financial metrics related to product performance. Project management is another critical component of this role. The Product Manager will lead the project planning process, forming and managing project teams across departments and the bank. They will be responsible for the implementation and delivery of projects within agreed-upon parameters, ensuring that all aspects of the project are executed efficiently and effectively. Vendor management is also a key responsibility, where the Product Manager will lead the contract negotiation process and manage day-to-day relationships with vendors. Monitoring service level agreements (SLAs) and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements will be essential to mitigate risks associated with vendor partnerships. Additionally, the Product Manager will evaluate financial performance against key metrics, providing monthly reporting and analysis to inform decision-making. They will stay current on the regulatory environment, suggesting changes as needed to maintain compliance and manage vendor risk assessments effectively.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university.
  • 6 years of experience in banking/financial service.
  • 5 years of experience in project management.
  • 3 years of experience in product management.
  • 4 years of experience in vendor management.
  • 4 years of experience in budget planning including profit and loss.
  • 3 years of experience utilizing Microsoft Office Products.
