About the position

The Digital Change & Release Manager is responsible for overseeing the entire product development lifecycle, from strategic planning to market launch, ensuring that products deliver significant business value. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to define product requirements, manage backlogs, and drive stakeholder engagement while focusing on enhancing customer experience and product usability.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver the full product development lifecycle from strategic objective to market launch.
  • Research, investigate, select, and develop products and services that bridge business requirements with technology capabilities.
  • Drive end-to-end product lifecycle including persona development, proof of concepts, backlog management, and product activation.
  • Provide the voice of the business to cross-functional product teams to clarify feature, story, and content requirements.
  • Create story acceptance criteria and prioritize the product backlog.
  • Translate product vision into a roadmap and actionable tasks.
  • Identify overall product goals and drive stakeholder engagement for product adoption.
  • Define and prioritize customer experience initiatives that matter most to customers.
  • Ensure product management and development teams work together effectively and efficiently.
  • Build and sustain high-performing cross-functional teams, monitoring performance and addressing issues.
  • Address blockers related to product adoption, including communications, documentation, and training.
  • Establish go-to-market, pricing, and positioning strategies.
  • Plan and manage budget, timeline, and tactical components throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Identify and analyze market trends to improve product usability.
  • Ensure new products or features are desirable, viable, and functional.

Requirements

  • Typically between 5 - 7 years of relevant experience in product management or related fields.
  • Post-secondary degree in a related field of study or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Deep knowledge and technical proficiency gained through extensive education and business experience.
  • Foundational proficiency in marketing analysis and creative thinking.
  • Intermediate proficiency in process improvement, business strategy, research, business operations, financial and risk management, product management, learning agility, customer centricity, verbal and written communication, collaboration, analytical and problem-solving skills, influence skills, and data-driven decision making.
  • Advanced proficiency in product development, product value proposition, go-to-market assets definition, technology business requirements, and product lifecycle management using Agile methodologies.
