About the position

The Digital Channel Manager at Festival Foods is responsible for maximizing the use of digital technology programs and platforms to enhance the marketing team's efficiency and improve the guest experience. This role involves overseeing digital channels, managing email and mobile messaging platforms, and utilizing data analytics to inform strategies and optimize communication with guests. The position requires a skilled leader to evolve technology capabilities and expand the digital strategy in alignment with the company's goals.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the subject matter expert for digital channels, identifying opportunities for effective guest communication.
  • Oversee the health and optimization of the email program, including templates, guest experience proofing, and reporting.
  • Manage the mobile messaging platform, ensuring strategic alignment and staying updated on vendor capabilities.
  • Administer marketing capabilities through vendor portals, including online ad distribution and digital coupons.
  • Utilize Google Analytics to create dashboards and share insights on guest engagement with content.
  • Manage customer service software and maintain the Digital Guest Support Specialist role.
  • Develop channel norms, templates, and KPIs based on data and competitive analysis.
  • Collaborate on digital content strategy and execution, providing tools for channel optimization.
  • Act as the primary contact for channel vendors, ensuring compliance with contracts and resolving issues.
  • Stay current on digital marketing best practices and compliance standards.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience managing digital channel strategy.
  • Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Business, Communication, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Google Analytics certification.
  • Deep understanding of digital platforms and technology for consumer retail.
  • High level of technical knowledge and technical writing skills.
  • Effective collaboration and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of problems.
