About the position

The Digital Channel, Marketing Manager for AWS Marketplace Marketing at Amazon Web Services is responsible for managing and optimizing marketing strategies across various digital channels. This role focuses on enhancing customer experiences through effective content management, engagement optimization, and SEO improvements. The manager will lead cross-functional marketing campaigns, analyze performance metrics, and collaborate with internal teams to drive brand awareness and customer retention.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a cohesive content and optimization strategy across all digital channels including email, blog, web, paid/organic social media, and landing pages.
  • Analyze performance of digital channels and identify areas of opportunity to develop and optimize content to improve customer experience and business outcomes.
  • Lead aspects of digital production, from planning to publishing/optimization across multiple platforms.
  • Serve as a digital marketing expert, with a deep understanding of various platform functionalities (Adobe Experience Manager, Marketo, social media management tools, etc.).
  • Implement and continuously improve best practices for SEO to enhance online visibility and drive organic traffic.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and manage external agencies to create required assets/content for all digital channels.
  • Work closely with Product and Engineering teams to share digital channel learnings and recommend future feature developments.
  • Track and synthesize engagement data across all digital channels, creating comprehensive monthly and quarterly reports for team stakeholders.
  • Develop insights and action plans accordingly.
  • Balance project priorities and goals across stakeholders, ensuring a cohesive approach to digital channel strategy and execution.
  • Stay current with digital marketing trends and emerging technologies, recommending and implementing innovative strategies to improve channel performance.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
  • Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
  • Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)
  • Experience using Microsoft Excel to manipulate and analyze data
  • Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional programs or marketing campaigns from concept to completion
