About the position

The Digital Channel Marketing Specialist role is a contract position that requires a highly skilled individual with extensive knowledge in digital marketing strategies and technologies. This position is responsible for designing, building, and owning strategic integrated channel experiences tailored for specific audiences, including advisors, investors, and institutional clients. The specialist will drive innovation and execute projects and campaigns while leveraging a data-driven approach to deliver multichannel experiences that meet performance objectives. In this role, the specialist will develop and execute the channel strategy and roadmap, rationalizing and sponsoring the integrated channel marketing strategy. This includes recommending and implementing new platform ideas and enhancements to drive engagement across the ecosystem. The specialist will provide strategic and technical expertise during marketing ideation sessions, ensuring alignment with the channel vision. A holistic view into email and web engagement will be developed, driving a test-and-learn agenda to assess success. The specialist will also manage projects and channel operations, leading cross-functional teams to develop requirements, scope, and objectives for channel programs. They will analyze potential platform strategies and recommend appropriate directions for the assigned audience. Continuous improvement of processes and technologies will be guided and implemented to optimize channel operations and performance. The role requires administering web, email, and marketing automation configuration tools, ensuring compliance with key build standards and metrics. Additionally, the specialist will build and deploy integrated digital marketing solutions, leveraging Adobe platforms and coding skills to create web page components and broader experiences. Proficiency in standard web coding languages such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is essential. The role also involves utilizing analytic resources to track performance, evaluate success against business objectives, and develop strategies for growth. The specialist will set policy guidelines for email and web style guides, ensuring best practices are implemented for design, deliverability, and compliance. Leadership is a key component of this role, as the specialist will provide direction to other associates, perform quality checks, and participate in training and development initiatives. The ability to influence groups, demonstrate sound judgment, and collaborate effectively across diverse teams is crucial for success in this position.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the channel strategy and roadmap.
  • Rationalize and sponsor the integrated channel marketing strategy by recommending and implementing new platform ideas and enhancements.
  • Provide strategic and technical channel expertise in marketing ideation sessions.
  • Develop a holistic view into email/web engagement and drive a test-and-learn agenda.
  • Drive channel innovation and engage with business partners to recommend and implement platform enhancements.
  • Work closely with IT, Sales/Marketing Ops, and other technical partners to develop and manage new solutions.
  • Stay abreast of the latest marketing technologies and tactics for continuous improvement.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to develop requirements, scope, and objectives for channel programs.
  • Analyze potential platform strategies and recommend appropriate directions for the assigned audience.
  • Guide and implement continuous improvement of processes and technologies to optimize channel operations.
  • Administer web, email, and marketing automation configuration tools.
  • Contribute to the design and development of web platform standards and processes.
  • Leverage Adobe platforms and coding skills to build and deploy web page components and experiences.
  • Utilize analytic resources to track performance and evaluate success against business objectives.
  • Create dashboards to measure and analyze user engagement results.
  • Inform the development of email and web style guides and standards in collaboration with Creative and Brand teams.
  • Ensure web experiences are built leveraging best practices and standards.
  • Provide direction to other associates in educational cross-platform training sessions.

Requirements
