About the position

As a Product Manager for JPM Access, Identity & Access Management (IAM) services at JPMorgan Chase & Co., you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of product innovation. You will be responsible for the end-to-end product life cycle, ensuring that new product offerings resonate with clients and deliver high-quality experiences. Your role will involve acting as the voice of the customer, developing profitable products that provide significant customer value, and utilizing your deep understanding of product development to guide successful launches. In this dynamic environment, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that products are scalable, resilient, and stable. You will develop a product strategy and vision that aligns with customer needs, manage discovery efforts and market research to uncover solutions, and maintain a product backlog that supports the overall strategic roadmap. Your ability to use data to make informed decisions will be crucial in improving customer experience, business metrics, and product adoption. You will also define strategies to enhance Identity and Access Management use cases, drive end-to-end execution of the product roadmap, and ensure that authentication processes are user-friendly while maintaining security standards. This role requires a strong commitment to leadership and the ability to manage a development team effectively. You will be held accountable for sprint planning and roadmap definition, ensuring that the product development life cycle is executed smoothly. Your experience in driving product development from conception to scaled adoption will be essential, as will your ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, from your immediate team to executive leadership. Responsibilities

  • Develop a product strategy and product vision that delivers value to customers.
  • Manage discovery efforts and market research to uncover customer solutions and integrate them into the product roadmap.
  • Own, maintain, and develop a product backlog that enables development to support the overall strategic roadmap and value proposition.
  • Build the framework and track the product's key success metrics such as cost, feature and functionality, risk posture, and reliability.
  • Use data to make decisions that improve customer experience, business metrics, and product adoption.
  • Define strategy to improve Identity and Access Management use cases in collaboration with Executive Director, Product.
  • Drive end-to-end execution of roadmap through effective sprint planning, stakeholder management, and healthy experimentation.
  • Make authentication easier to use while maintaining the security standards for existing and future features.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in product management or a relevant domain area.
  • Advanced knowledge of the product development life cycle, design, and data analytics.
  • Proven ability to lead product life cycle activities including discovery, ideation, strategic development, requirements definition, and value management.
  • 2+ years of experience as a senior product manager or higher at a fast-paced, agile organization doing individual contributor work.
  • Track record of delivering thoughtful, user-centric and intuitive experiences.
  • Experience driving 0 to 1 product development, from conception, launch, and scaled adoption.
  • Ability to manage a development team and be held accountable for sprint planning and roadmap definition within their assigned domain.
  • Experience using a healthy mix of quantitative data, qualitative data, best practices and product instinct to make prioritization decisions.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, evidenced by ability to articulate impact and tradeoffs at varying levels of altitude (from your immediate team all the way up to executive leadership).
  • Ability to lead with an Agile mindset in order to create a value-stream with an iterative product development strategy.
