About the position

As a Digital Communications Specialist II at Melaleuca, you will play a pivotal role in leading the Digital Communication Journey Optimization on a global scale. Your primary responsibility will be to drive optimized integrated communications journeys that ensure the organization reaches the right customer at the right time with the right message. This will involve managing communications costs through a rigorous test, learn, and implement methodology. You will maintain ownership of all channels related to digital communication journey planning, customer contact permissions, and preferences. Your expertise will be crucial in leading digital communications testing and optimization across all channels, enhancing testing processes, and deriving insights through a data-driven approach. This will help the organization to drive optimal messaging throughout the customer lifecycle, including membership conversion, at-risk customer rescue, and re-enrollments. In collaboration with the Director of Digital Communications, you will work to understand marketing partner strategies and technology options. You will also support event participation communications coordination and insights. Your proactive approach will be essential in driving strategic improvements for the Digital Communications function, where you will initiate recommendations, support automation, and lead process improvements through initiative and action. This role requires a blend of creativity, analytical skills, and technical expertise to ensure that digital communications are effective and impactful.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Digital Communication Journey Optimization globally.
  • Drive optimized integrated communications journeys to reach the right customer at the right time with the right message.
  • Manage communications costs via a rigorous test, learn, and implement methodology.
  • Maintain ownership of all channels of digital communication journey planning, customer contact permissions, and preferences.
  • Lead digital communications testing and optimization for all channels.
  • Enhance testing processes and insights via a data-driven approach to audience, message, execution, reporting, and insights.
  • Work with the Director of Digital Communications to understand marketing partner strategies and technology options.
  • Support event participation communications coordination and insights.
  • Proactively drive strategic improvements for the Digital Communications function.
  • Initiate recommendations, support automation, and lead process improvement.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in digital marketing or e-commerce.
  • Expertise in Salesforce Marketing Cloud, including Email Studio, Mobile Studio, Automation Studio, and Journey Builder.
  • Proven track record of success in creating, managing, and optimizing data-driven email campaigns with a focus on results-oriented messaging.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data insights into actionable strategies.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.
  • Passion for continuous learning and staying ahead of the latest digital marketing trends.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience using Salesforce Einstein splits and send time optimization.
  • Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, HTML, Dreamweaver, and Microsoft Office.
  • Familiarity with Google Analytics and backend data extraction.
