About the position

As a Digital Content and Copywriting Analyst at Minelab, you will play a crucial role in shaping the voice of our brand across various digital platforms. Reporting directly to the Global Marketing Campaign Manager, your primary responsibility will be to create, design, and optimize engaging content tailored for our global audience on social media and other digital channels. This position requires a blend of creativity and analytical skills, as you will be tasked with writing clear and compelling copy for social media posts, email newsletters, and other digital assets. You will also be responsible for developing content in multiple languages, ensuring that it resonates with diverse audiences while maintaining brand consistency. Your role will involve editing and proofreading content to uphold our brand's tone and quality standards. You will develop high-quality visual and written content that drives engagement and conversions, particularly for social media and email campaigns. This includes designing engaging static images, infographics, carousels, and other visual assets to support our marketing initiatives. Collaboration is key; you will work closely with the Graphic Design team to ensure that all content is visually appealing and optimized for each platform. In addition to content creation, you will contribute to the continuous improvement of our global content strategies by staying updated with industry trends and incorporating feedback. Participation in brainstorming sessions will be essential for generating creative ideas for social media and email content strategies. You will also coordinate with the Digital Marketing Analyst and other marketing team members to align your content with overall campaign strategies and objectives. Your creative support will be vital for global marketing initiatives, ensuring that content is tailored to different regions as necessary.

Responsibilities

  • Write clear, compelling copy for social media posts, email newsletters, and other digital assets.
  • Develop content in multiple languages leveraging tools and contacts for translation.
  • Edit and proofread content to ensure it meets brand tone and quality standards.
  • Develop content that drives engagement and conversions, particularly for social media and email campaigns.
  • Develop high-quality visual and written content tailored for social media platforms and email campaigns, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines.
  • Design engaging static images, infographics, carousels, and other visual assets to support social media campaigns and email communications.
  • Collaborate closely with the Graphic Design team to ensure content is visually appealing and optimized for each platform.
  • Ensure all global content, both visual and written, maintains a consistent voice and style that aligns with the overall brand identity.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of global content strategies, staying updated with industry and regional trends and incorporating feedback.
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions to generate creative ideas for social media and email content strategies.
  • Coordinate with the Digital Marketing Analyst and other marketing team members to align social media and email content with overall campaign strategies and objectives.
  • Provide creative support for global marketing initiatives, ensuring that content is tailored to different regions as necessary.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, or a related field.
  • Ideally certifications in Copywriting, or Content Marketing.
  • 3+ years of experience in content creation and copywriting within a marketing or digital environment, with a focus on social media and email content.
  • Proven ability to create content that is both visually appealing and compelling in written form for social media and email campaigns.
  • Excellent writing and editing skills, with the ability to adapt tone and style to different audiences, particularly for social media and email content.
  • Proficiency in Spanish and/or any other languages is highly regarded.
  • Knowledge of best practices for social media and email marketing.
  • Experience using design tools such as Canva or Adobe Photoshop for creating visually appealing content.
  • Basic design skills with a solid understanding of visual hierarchy, typography, and color theory.
  • Curiosity and enthusiasm for technology, with the ability to learn and adapt to new tools and platforms quickly.

Nice-to-haves

  • Proficiency in additional languages beyond Spanish.
  • Certifications in Copywriting or Content Marketing.
