About the position

The Digital Content and Social Media Manager (DCSMM) is responsible for developing and disseminating engaging content across Frontier Nursing University's digital platforms, including the website, blog, and social media channels. This role is essential for enhancing the university's online presence and promoting its mission and educational programs. The DCSMM collaborates with the marketing and advancement teams to create impactful digital content and strategies that foster community engagement and brand awareness.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute FNU's social media strategy by creating, managing, and distributing digital content across various platforms.
• Coordinate copywriting and editing for digital and social media content.
• Create and manage a social media calendar and advertising plan.
• Plan and implement the university website content strategy in collaboration with stakeholders, overseeing analytics and SEO.
• Create graphics, imagery, and video content for digital communications.
• Develop and execute measurable fan engagement strategies for social media campaigns.
• Engage with industry and media contacts through social media.
• Ensure brand consistency across all online platforms.
• Monitor trends in social media tools and analyze competitors to identify opportunities.
• Analyze higher education digital content and measure the impact of social media campaigns.
• Represent the university at in-person recruiting or brand awareness events as needed.
• Participate in university governance and community outreach activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient knowledge of social media technologies and web analytics software.
• Proficiency in design applications such as Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva, and video editing software.
• Strong computer skills with various office software packages.
