About the position

The Digital Content Coordinator will play a crucial role in managing the online voice of our clients, ensuring their digital presence is both engaging and effective. This position involves a variety of responsibilities, including overseeing social media channels, optimizing websites for search engines, and creating compelling blog content. The coordinator will work closely with the Director of Digital Content to implement strategies that enhance user experience (UX) and drive traffic to client websites. This is a full-time, hybrid role based in either our New Orleans or Baton Rouge office, allowing for flexibility in work arrangements. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining client websites, ensuring they are accurate and functional. You will also provide recommendations for improving user experience based on research and data analysis. A significant part of your job will involve composing blog posts that are optimized for targeted keywords, which will help improve the clients' search engine rankings. Additionally, you will manage and monitor clients' social media channels, ensuring that their online presence is active and engaging. Competitive research will also be a key component of your responsibilities, as you will need to stay informed about industry trends and competitors' strategies in both social media and SEO. The ideal candidate will have a background in marketing, advertising, communications, or English, with a strong emphasis on writing and communication skills. You should be comfortable working in a collaborative team environment and possess both creative and analytical skills, allowing you to derive insights from data analytics. Requirements

  • Ability to thrive in a team/collaborative setting
  • Creative and analytical skills to derive meaning from data through analytics
