About the position

Cambridge is excited to offer a Digital Content Creator Internship as part of our Next Step internship program, which provides talented students with a unique opportunity to gain practical insight into the financial services industry. This 10-12 week paid internship will take place at our home office in Fairfield, Iowa, where interns will work closely with experienced professionals and gain valuable knowledge in their field. Each intern will be paired with a mentor, supervisor, and executive leader, allowing for extensive networking opportunities and learning from industry experts. At the conclusion of the internship, interns will present their experiences and a specific project of their choice, showcasing their contributions and learning outcomes. The Digital Content Creator Intern will play a crucial role in the Training and Education Department, which focuses on providing professional development opportunities for associates and financial professionals. This position will involve working on impactful projects that cater to both internal and external customers. Interns will gain a comprehensive understanding of the business structure and how various cross-functional teams collaborate to achieve corporate goals. The role will require the use of tools such as Articulate, Adobe Captivate, and SABA to create or edit training content, including forms, job aids, assessments, and surveys. Additionally, the intern will assist in video creation and editing using Premier Pro, participate in the development of educational resources, and evaluate existing course offerings for quality and effectiveness. This internship is ideal for students studying technology, graphic design, or education technology, providing them with hands-on experience in a supportive environment.

Responsibilities

  • Work on projects that have a broad impact with internal and external customers.
  • Gain a solid understanding of business structure and cross-functional team collaboration.
  • Utilize Articulate, Adobe Captivate, and SABA to produce or edit training content.
  • Partner with various teams including Training and Education, Marketing and Communications, and Human Resources.
  • Assist in video creation and editing using Premier Pro.
  • Participate in cross-functional projects to develop educational resources for external audiences.
  • Evaluate existing course offerings for quality and effectiveness.
  • Produce and edit graphics and acquire assets for the Image Library on SharePoint.
