About the position

The Digital Content Creator at David Lawrence Center is responsible for the creative conceptualization and design of digital, graphic, and print content. This role is integral to the marketing team, utilizing a variety of technical and creative skills to enhance the organization's messaging and support its mission of providing recovery and health services to the Collier County community.

Responsibilities

• Designing and creating marketing content for various DLC-controlled channels including social media, email marketing, website, direct mail, and event-related materials.
• Assisting the Director of Marketing & Communications in developing quarterly marketing campaign guides.
• Supporting marketing and communication efforts for live events related to development and fundraising.
• Providing assistance in the production of larger-scale marketing content such as video or event capture when applicable.
• Creating content that promotes inclusion, education, and enhances DLC's local brand recognition.
• Supporting other Marketing & Development initiatives as needed.
• Participating in special projects and performing other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field (Marketing, English, Advertising, Communications, etc.) from an accredited institution.
• Three plus years of experience in digital design, including digital, print, photography, and video.
• Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Lightroom, and WordPress.
• Understanding of basic marketing concepts and experience with a variety of social media marketing tools.
• Evocative written/verbal communication skills with strong copy-editing abilities and attention to detail.
• Passion for social media, storytelling, and connecting with online audiences.
• Ability to manage time and prioritize projects to meet deadlines across multiple communications platforms.
• Strong interpersonal and social networking skills with personal initiative.
• Valid Florida Driver's License and clean driving record.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365/Teams/SharePoint/Video Conferencing.
• Ability to pass a DCF Level II Mental Health Fingerprint Screening, Drug Test, and local Criminal Check.
