About the position

EPB's Digital Content Creator is responsible for crafting high-quality, engaging content across various digital marketing channels, including the company website, social media, and email campaigns. This role requires a creative thinker with strong writing skills and a keen eye for design, aimed at amplifying the brand message while ensuring accuracy and consistency with EPB's branding strategy. The position also involves collaboration with various teams to develop strategic content and monitor its performance.

Responsibilities

  • Develop high-quality, engaging and original content for various digital platforms, including social media, website, blogs and email campaigns.
  • Write clear, compelling and SEO-optimized copy for a variety of digital platforms that maintains a consistent brand voice.
  • Produce digital content in various formats, including graphics and video.
  • Adapt to new trends and technologies to keep the content strategy current and effective.
  • Collaborate with creative, product, and management teams to create and execute digital marketing campaigns.
  • Monitor and respond to social media as needed.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, tools, and technology and apply them to job responsibilities.
  • Ensure content is engaging and accurate.
  • Monitor and analyze content performance using tools like Google Analytics and social media insights.
  • Participate in creative brainstorming and strategy sessions.
  • Work collaboratively with other marketing department members, including graphic artists and project management.
  • Research and understand target audiences, industry trends, and competitive landscape to inform creative development.
  • Monitor and meet deadlines as assigned.
  • Adhere to brand guidelines and present concepts to internal clients as needed.
  • Proofread and edit all copy for accuracy, grammar, punctuation, and style.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in English, Communication, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of proven experience as a digital content creator or similar role.
  • Strong understanding of SEO principles and keyword research.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing tools.
  • Strong retail-oriented B2C experience is a plus.
  • Knowledge of the Utility industry is a plus but not required.
  • Demonstrated success in social media engagement.
  • Proficiency in content creation tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, CapCut or similar.
  • A portfolio showcasing results-based writing samples is required.

Nice-to-haves

  • Certifications in digital marketing or SEO (e.g. Google Analytics) are a plus but not required.
