About the position

EPB's Digital Content Creator is responsible for crafting high-quality, engaging content across various digital platforms, ensuring the accuracy and tone of messaging aligns with the company's branding strategy. This role requires creativity, strong writing skills, and the ability to leverage digital marketing channels effectively. The position also involves collaboration with different teams to develop strategic content for advertising, social media, and other marketing initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Develop high-quality, engaging and original content for various digital platforms, including social media, website, blogs and email campaigns.
  • Write clear, compelling and SEO-optimized copy for a variety of digital platforms that maintains a consistent brand voice.
  • Produce digital content in a variety of content types, including graphics and video.
  • Adapt to new trends and technologies to ensure content strategy remains current and effective.
  • Collaborate with creative, product and management teams to create and execute digital marketing campaigns.
  • Monitor and respond to social media as needed.
  • Stay up to date on industry trends, tools and technology and apply them to job responsibilities.
  • Ensure content is engaging and accurate.
  • Monitor and analyze content performance using available tools, like Google Analytics and social media insights.
  • Participate in and contribute to creative brainstorming and strategy sessions.
  • Work collaboratively with other marketing department members, including graphic artists and project management.
  • Research and understand target audiences, industry trends and competitive landscape to inform creative development.
  • Monitor and meet deadlines as assigned.
  • Understand and adhere to brand guidelines.
  • Present concepts and projects to internal clients as needed.
  • Work on various projects simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and requiring minimal supervision.
  • Proofread and edit all copy for accuracy, grammar, punctuation, and style.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in English, Communication, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of proven experience as a digital content creator or similar role.
  • Strong understanding of SEO principles and keyword research.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing tools.
  • Strong retail-oriented B2C experience is a plus.
  • Knowledge of the Utility industry is a plus but not required.
  • Demonstrated success in social media engagement.
  • Proficiency in content creation tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, CapCut or similar.
  • A portfolio showcasing results-based writing samples is required.

Nice-to-haves

  • Certifications in digital marketing or SEO (e.g. Google Analytics) are a plus but not required.
  • Creative mindset with the ability to conceive concepts based on a strategic objective.
