About the position

The Digital Content Designer at Electronic Arts will be responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and creating on-brand content for various platforms, including social media and web communications. This role aims to drive engagement and pride in EA's franchises while collaborating with multiple teams to enhance the brand's expression. The ideal candidate will be proactive, adaptable, and possess a strong design background, contributing to a dynamic creative team focused on storytelling and community connection.

Responsibilities

  • Design compelling and strategic content that aligns with business objectives and reflects company values.
  • Contribute to Electronic Arts' brand across diverse touchpoints, including internal communications, corporate campaigns, and social media.
  • Create and edit engaging short-form video content, such as GIFs and animations, to boost engagement on EA brand channels.
  • Collaborate with the EA Brand Marketing, Communications, and Social teams to generate culturally-relevant, social-first creative concepts.
  • Take on projects from ideation to completion, ensuring high-quality, pixel-perfect designs.
  • Model a collaborative partnership between brand, creative, social, communications, and production teams.
  • Work in a hands-on environment that requires flexibility and a can-do attitude.
  • Seek opportunities to improve and expand the brand's impact.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior designers.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience at a design agency and/or in-house design team.
  • Strong hands-on skills in design, typography, and layout, with an eye for detail.
  • Extensive experience with Figma, particularly in creating and leveraging system elements.
  • Advanced knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and other design tools.
  • Knowledge of social media strategies across platforms like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
  • Creativity and a fresh perspective while working within brand and project parameters.
  • A proactive and self-driven approach to tasks, with effective time management and prioritization skills.
  • A strong portfolio showcasing brand and digital content design work.
