About the position
The Digital Content Producer at EWTN Global Catholic Network is responsible for producing and editing content for the organization's digital platforms, including both long-form and short-form media. This role involves assisting in the creative development of new content, executing technical aspects of production, and ensuring timely delivery of projects. The position requires a strong understanding of social media content dynamics and a commitment to EWTN's mission.
Responsibilities
- Assist in ideation for new concepts and content for EWTN's digital platforms.
- Stage, light, shoot, and edit projects.
- Create short-form content for social media and digital platforms.
- Track project workflow and keep production aspects on schedule.
- Communicate with partners and talent regarding the production process.
- Coordinate equipment and crew for productions.
- Collaborate with other departments in content delivery.
- Support the EWTN Next team in evaluating and promoting content.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience producing and editing content for social media and digital platforms.
- Solid understanding of content performance on social media, including algorithms and metrics.
- Strong knowledge of the Catholic Faith and EWTN's mission.
- Technical skills in lighting, cinematography, editing, sound design, and color grading, preferably using Adobe Creative Cloud.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with A/P news software (ENPS) is beneficial.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills, with strong time management and attention to detail.
- Ability to adjust to a flexible schedule and travel periodically for meetings.
- Undergraduate degree in communications, Visual Arts, Media, or a related field.
