About the position

Stiles Machinery is seeking a vibrant and energetic Digital Content Writer to join our growing team. This creative and enthusiastic individual will own the strategic development of content to drive engagement across all marketing channels. This person will collaborate daily with members of the marketing team, product teams, department heads, and executives to carefully curate external content that aligns with our corporate strategy. The right candidate for this position will have a keen eye for creative storytelling through both video and written content. This individual will be a confident writer with extreme attention to detail and an ability to translate technical information appropriately for different audiences. This person will have a unique mix of creative and analytical skills to continuously improve performance based on learnings from past campaigns.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the 'voice' of Stiles Machinery, owning all corporate communications and customer-facing brand channels.
  • Manage all corporate social media accounts.
  • Responsible for creating and maintaining a corporate content calendar to ensure all external marketing efforts align with our corporate strategy.
  • Own the creation of all marketing and brand content in coordination with the rest of the marketing team, product teams, third-party videographers, and other agency partners.
  • Manage the development of all copywriting required for external communications to ensure the brand voice is used appropriately for things like e-newsletters, press releases, blog posts, print materials, social media, etc.
  • Work alongside other stakeholders to build, write, and execute strategic and timely email marketing campaigns that align with corporate strategy.
  • Oversee the deployment of content across social media, company websites, email marketing, and all other digital channels.
  • Responsible for analyzing the performance of all social media and email marketing KPIs to ensure all content and campaigns are optimized.
  • Ensure all content has an adjusted 'tone' depending on the channel or audience segment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Marketing, Journalism, English, Public Relations, or Business Administration.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a communications-type role for an established brand.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience executing strategic email marketing efforts using platforms such as Active Campaign, Mailchimp, Pardot, Hubspot, etc.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience managing social media for an established brand.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a technical writer, copywriter, journalist, or equivalent experience.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Preferred, not required)
  • Strong analytical skills for performance analysis and reporting.
