Under the direction of the Director of Digital Portfolio Ops, the Digital Data and Visualization Engineer will be key in our digital data transformation and will drive technical solutions to help improve the scalability and performance of our data stores, data integration, dashboarding, and reporting. This role will be responsible for creating dashboards & visualizations, converting raw data into actionable reports, turning data into valuable insights, and providing clarity to product and business stakeholders. Deep hands-on knowledge of PowerBI, SQL, and Databricks will be needed as well as being proactive about finding problems & solutions for the digital product team. An understanding of business intelligence and data warehousing concepts within software life-cycle development is also needed. Application of analytical rigor to leverage existing and developing analytic infrastructure to support Power BI dashboards & reporting, creation of predictive models, and strategic analysis is required. Expertise in data analysis, data mining, and data visualization to drive past the numbers and help build solid recommendations for strategic decisions of digital initiatives also expected. Partnering with product and application owners, business leaders, marketing, IT, and customer advocates and will be instrumental in fostering a culture of data informed decision-making.
