Digital Design & Content Coordinator

About the position

Bloomingdale's is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Digital Design & Content Coordinator to join their in-house creative and production team. This role focuses on digital marketing and web design, requiring collaboration with design teams to create and manage online content, ensuring it aligns with the company's creative vision and functions effectively across various platforms.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the design team to collect and export online content from Adobe XD for various digital platforms.
• Develop web experiences within Adobe Experience Manager and Contentful to match editorial content mockups.
• QA web content to ensure it aligns with the creative team's designs and functions correctly on all screen sizes.
• Conceptualize and design new components and content layouts for AEM and Contentful, considering UX best practices.
• Attend site design meetings with cross-functional teams and provide UX feedback on designs.
• Design and maintain Bloomingdale's digital style guide and design systems.
• Communicate ideas effectively and present them with conviction.

Requirements

• Relevant portfolio of recent work.
• 2+ years of experience in building websites using an enterprise-level Content Management System.
• 2+ years of experience guiding and implementing complex support content projects.
• 2+ years of experience in website development.
• 2+ years of experience with HTML/CSS/JavaScript.
• Experience with AEM, Contentful, and/or similar CMS platforms.
• Experience with the Adobe suite, specifically XD, and Figma.
• Experience collaborating with design and engineering teams.
• Effective presentation and communication skills.
• Demonstrated success in project management.
