About the position

The Digital & eCommerce Marketing Specialist is responsible for driving online sales growth through the development and execution of effective eCommerce marketing strategies. This role involves managing the eCommerce site and sales channels, optimizing product listings, and providing exceptional customer service to online customers. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of eCommerce platforms, analytical skills, and a proven track record in increasing online sales.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute effective eCommerce marketing strategies to drive online sales growth
  • Manage our eCommerce site and sales channels, including website updates, product listing optimization, and order fulfillment
  • Expand our online sales presence by managing third-party eCommerce platforms, such as Amazon, Walmart, Target, Etsy, eBay, and others
  • Conduct market research and analyze consumer behavior to identify new eCommerce opportunities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement eCommerce initiatives
  • Monitor and analyze eCommerce metrics, such as website traffic, conversion rates, and customer engagement, to optimize marketing campaigns and sales performance
  • Provide exceptional customer service to our online customers, including timely response to inquiries and resolution of customer issues
  • Stay up-to-date with eCommerce industry trends, developments, and best practices
  • Search, develop, and manage agency/vendor/freelancer relationships including graphic design, video production, and other related services for eCommerce marketing initiatives

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, eCommerce, Digital Marketing or a related field
  • 3 years+ proven experience in eCommerce marketing, in a B2C or B2B environment
  • Deep understanding of eCommerce platforms and tools, such as Shopify, Magento, WooCommerce, Laravel or similar
  • Experience with third-party eCommerce platforms, such as Amazon, Walmart, Target, Etsy, eBay, and others
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with eCommerce metrics and analytics tools, such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Adobe Analytics, Hotjar, or similar
  • Experience with eCommerce website management, product listing optimization, and order fulfillment
  • Exceptional customer service skills and ability to build strong customer relationships
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Creative and strategic thinking to develop effective eCommerce marketing campaigns
