About the position

Boeing is seeking Digital Electronics Design Engineers (Lead or Senior) to join the Space Digital Products & Electronics team in El Segundo, CA. This role focuses on designing and implementing digital circuitry for communication satellites, requiring expertise in digital signal processing, data communication, and embedded systems. Responsibilities

• Design and develop state-of-the-art digital circuit and unit hardware for aerospace applications.
• Provide technical support for production and testing of electronic products.
• Maintain detailed requirements and specifications for various electronic products.
• Lead analysis of customer and system requirements and develop architectural approaches and specifications.
• Lead development of high-level and detailed designs consistent with requirements.
• Conduct reviews of testing and analysis activities to ensure compliance with requirements.
• Identify, track, and report technical performance measures to ensure compliance with requirements.
• Support Supplier Management with make/buy recommendations and other technical services.
• Coordinate engineering support throughout the product lifecycle.
• Plan research projects to develop concepts for future product designs.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.
• Lead level: 5+ years of experience with Digital Electronics, Digital Circuits, or Digital Electronics Hardware.
• Senior level: 10+ years of experience with Digital Electronics, Digital Circuits, or Digital Electronics Hardware.
• Ability to obtain U.S. Security Clearance post start.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Digital, Analog, and Power Electronics.
• Experience with circuit design and analysis.
• Experience with Firmware, Microprocessor, or other Hardware.
• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science.
