About the position

As a Digital Email Marketing Specialist, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing our brand through effective email marketing campaigns. This position is primarily focused on email marketing, distinguishing it from project management or social media roles. You will serve as a Subject Matter Expert in marketing CRM technology, which includes marketing automation, database querying, and email design/platforms. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring that our email marketing strategies align with our clients' business objectives and drive customer acquisition and retention. In this role, you will collaborate closely with brand and marketing leads to develop targeted lists using our CRM database. You will oversee email marketing projects, guiding the strategy, prioritization, and day-to-day tasks. This includes coordinating with external vendors and marketing agencies involved in CRM projects to ensure that all campaigns are executed effectively and efficiently. You will also be responsible for implementing standardized campaign development processes, proactively identifying opportunities for efficiency and consistency across channels. Maintaining a clean and deliverable email address list in the CRM database is critical, as is contributing to and maintaining customer segmentation based on available CRM tools. You will support email design and layout using HTML editors and other email building interfaces, ensuring that all communications are visually appealing and compliant with CAN-SPAM laws and HIPAA regulations. Your role will be pivotal in driving the success of our email marketing initiatives and enhancing our overall digital marketing strategy.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • 3-7 years of experience with marketing CRM technology and email platforms (e.g., Salesforce Health and Marketing - Clouds, Marketo, HubSpot, Eloqua, Mailchimp).
  • Proficiency in using Google Analytics data for digital strategies.
  • Experience interacting with senior leadership and making recommendations.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Suite.

Nice-to-haves

  • Master's degree in business, IT, or marketing.
  • Advanced knowledge of email and marketing cloud platforms.
  • Certifications in a CRM platform.
