About the position

The Digital Enterprise IT/Technical Project Manager will lead the implementation of data-centered projects aimed at enhancing the AEDC ground test data infrastructure and business systems. This role involves collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to leverage data for decision-making and support the Digital Enterprise initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Lead teams focused on projects in the Digital Enterprise branch.
  • Provide program/project management leadership for complex multidisciplinary projects.
  • Represent the company to clients, customers, and users.
  • Evaluate opportunities for facility capability upgrades using standard engineering methods.
  • Manage complex projects, tracking scope, resource utilization, schedules, and accomplishments.
  • Facilitate the collection of project requirements and communicate them to project teams.
  • Provide project updates to management and local Air Force Director as needed.
  • Deliver a successful portfolio of projects on time and within budget.
  • Perform cost and performance measurement analysis against planned scope.
  • Ensure compliance with codes, standards, and regulations.
  • Prepare and execute Project Plans with cost, schedule, and performance objectives.
  • Support common work processes within assigned functions across the TOS contract.
  • Assist other project managers in managing large, multidisciplinary projects.

Requirements

  • B.S. degree in a relevant technical field (Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Engineering, IT) or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 6 years of progressive and relevant experience in an engineering or related technical field, or 12 years in lieu of a degree.
  • Current U.S. Citizenship required.
  • Current SECRET Security Clearance.

Nice-to-haves

  • Degree in a computer science discipline or engineering from an accredited university.
  • Basic knowledge of engineering, procurement, or project-related activities.
  • Ability to organize and monitor team efforts effectively.
  • Experience with development lifecycle methodologies such as Agile DevSecOps.
  • Demonstrated experience in a data engineering role.
  • Experience with data architectures and machine learning techniques.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills.
