About the position

Wells Fargo is seeking a Digital Event Planner/Producer to join the Meetings and Events (WFME) team. This role involves planning, producing, and executing complex digital and hybrid events for various business groups and enterprise functions. The Digital Event Planner will lead discussions with business partners, manage multiple events simultaneously, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements while driving cost efficiencies.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, plan, manage, and execute all digital aspects of major/enterprise level, multi-day meetings, conferences, or events.
  • Act as the subject matter expert, providing guidance on platforms, logistics, and communication methodologies.
  • Manage a large number of meetings or events simultaneously, ensuring target deliverables and deadlines are met.
  • Collaborate with business partners on format, agenda, and budget monitoring.
  • Partner with Sourcing & Contracting on RFPs and vendor bids, negotiating services needed for event execution.
  • Host or co-host various digital platforms, managing attendees and troubleshooting technical issues.
  • Act as event director, overseeing all aspects of digital or hybrid event production.
  • Collaborate with WFME Digital Team leads to stay current on platform and compliance requirements.
  • Ensure event-related risks are mitigated and compliance requirements are adhered to.
  • Determine feasibility of digital platforms when leveraging external venues, ensuring cost efficiencies.
  • Act as the main point of contact for external AV suppliers, establishing timelines for content submission.
  • Create run of shows and lead speaker prep calls and dry run rehearsals for events.
  • Document After-Action Reports to mitigate future risks and improve event execution.
  • Adhere to WFME policies and maintain clean data in event management tools.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of Event Management experience or equivalent through work experience, training, military experience, or education.
  • 5+ years of corporate meeting & event planning experience in the financial services industry.
  • 3+ years of experience in a digital or hybrid production and streaming environment.
  • 3+ years of experience hosting or leading digital events using platforms like Zoom, Microsoft Teams, or Webex.
  • Experience partnering with AV production companies.
  • Ability to multitask and balance numerous meetings/events simultaneously.
  • Certification on digital event strategy and execution from a recognized organization.
  • CMP (Certified Meeting Planner) designation is preferred.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a structured environment.
  • A highly collaborative work style with flexibility to adapt to business changes.
