About the position

The Watts Internship Program offers students a unique opportunity to apply their academic knowledge in a real-world setting, focusing on projects that enhance their understanding of business operations. Interns will engage in hands-on experiences, contributing to day-to-day operations while collaborating with professionals across various departments, particularly in manufacturing and industrial engineering. This program emphasizes skill development, accountability, and the chance to make a meaningful impact on the company's mission to provide safe, clean water.

Responsibilities

  • Work with latest SEO tools to conduct an audit of our websites and learn how to read and interpret the reports.
  • Review content on our global web platform and make recommendations to improve customer experience.
  • Develop and execute actions that will improve search engine ranking based on site analytics.
  • Create how-to documentation for others to follow and learn from your experiences.
  • Conduct and review web accessibility scanning results, developing actions to improve the website for users with accessibility needs.
  • Participate in regression testing/QA during website updates to help identify bugs before customers do.

Requirements

  • Current student (Junior status) actively pursuing a bachelor's degree in Marketing.
  • Knowledge in SEO/SEM, Analytics, ABM tools, and Content Management Systems (CMS).
  • Demonstrated commitment to integrity and respect in interactions with others, fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Strong sense of accountability, taking ownership of tasks and following through on commitments.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States and do not require sponsorship now or in the future.
