About the position
The Digital Experience Marketing Manager at Hawthorne Gardening Company will play a crucial role in enhancing consumer engagement through digital marketing strategies. This position combines strategic planning with hands-on execution, focusing on omni-channel marketing to optimize the consumer journey. The manager will lead a team, oversee digital marketing initiatives, and collaborate with various departments to ensure effective content delivery and performance tracking.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the digital marketing lead
- Apply understanding of platform and channel expertise, including social media, email/CRM, web, and eCommerce
- Contribute to the development and implementation of digital strategies and best practices
- Inform digital aspects of marketing plans and strategies
- Monitor and analyze metrics and analytics to identify user behavior patterns and opportunities for enhancement
- Contribute to monthly performance reports on KPIs
- Develop and execute consumer-driven content plans in partnership with the marketing team
- Identify content needs based on marketing objectives and the consumer journey
- Engage cross-functional experts to develop content
- Collaborate with social analysts to identify external content partners
- Work with web lead for SEO integration
- Project manage content development
- Lead the social media team and set standards for best practices
- Grow and develop direct reports through training and coaching
- Act as the CRM/Email Lead and manage email campaigns
- Report on performance and develop optimization recommendations
- Contribute to web projects in partnership with internal and external teams
- Manage agency partner relationships, invoicing, and budgets
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant work experience
- 5+ years of experience in digital marketing or consumer experience
