About the position

The Digital Experience Marketing Manager will play a crucial role in enhancing the user experience of Gold's Gym's digital ecosystem, which includes web and mobile applications. This position is responsible for ideating, developing, and implementing programs that improve the overall digital experience for users. The manager will work closely with both internal teams and external partners to ensure that the digital experience aligns with the needs and expectations of key stakeholders. This role requires a strong collaboration with management, IT, Business Intelligence, and Data and Analytics teams to continuously enhance marketing effectiveness through various digital initiatives. A significant aspect of this role involves maintaining the digital ecosystem, which includes managing website upgrades and digital communication channels. The manager will focus on enhancing user experience to improve conversion rates across all digital traffic, including both organic and paid sources. Troubleshooting issues related to the website and mobile applications for members is also a key responsibility. The manager will own the deployment of all new and existing content, ensuring that it meets the highest standards of quality and effectiveness. In addition to these responsibilities, the Digital Experience Marketing Manager will assess the current UX/UI across all digital assets, identifying opportunities for improvement and validating the impact of changes made. This role requires the ability to manage projects from inception to completion, presenting strategies, implementation plans, and results to stakeholders in a clear and visually engaging manner. Reporting on the growth of owned channels in partnership with the internal analytics team and agency partners is also essential, ensuring that website performance aligns with business goals. As a leader in the digital experience field, the manager will leverage their UX/UI knowledge and analytics to drive results and foster a culture of continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Lead collaborative cross-functional teams to improve and grow owned digital marketing channels.
  • Manage website upgrades and digital communication channels to enhance user experience and improve conversion ratios.
  • Troubleshoot website and mobile application issues for members.
  • Own the deployment of all new and existing content across digital platforms.
  • Assess current UX/UI across all digital assets and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Create and present strategies, implementation plans, and results to stakeholders.
  • Partner with internal analytics team to track and report on growth of owned channels.
  • Act as an expert in the digital experience field and leverage UX/UI knowledge.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years of marketing experience, preferably in the fitness industry.
  • Expertise in web fundamentals including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Experience working with APIs and responsive websites.
  • Proficiency in CMS management and page building in WordPress.
  • Proficiency with HubSpot and creative design platforms such as Figma, Visio, and Adobe XD.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to navigate new projects.
  • Ability to build relationships and trust with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Client-first mentality with a commitment to excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills with high attention to detail.
