About the position

The Digital Experience Monitoring - Solutions Engineer at Dynatrace plays a crucial role in supporting the sales team by providing technical expertise and demonstrating the value of Dynatrace's offerings. This position involves executing product demonstrations, managing proof of concepts (POCs), and building relationships with customers to address their needs effectively. The role requires collaboration across various teams and a strong understanding of digital experience monitoring and business analytics technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Evangelize Dynatrace's product offerings during international trade shows and key customer meetings.
  • Partner with sales representatives to identify new and incremental sales opportunities.
  • Participate in proof of concept (PoC) creation and cloud architecture discussions.
  • Present Dynatrace's vision to C-suite executives of customers.
  • Provide technical guidance during the Discovery, Solution Evaluation, and Solution Proposal stages of the sales cycle.
  • Deliver on-stage demonstrations at marketing events and ensure key demonstrations are executed effectively.
  • Gather and provide customer feedback to Product Management to enhance market share.
  • Build best practices and share knowledge within the team to improve capabilities.
  • Identify learning and development opportunities for personal and team growth.
  • Create and modify Dynatrace template presentations to meet customer demands.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent education or experience required.
  • 5+ years of experience within the digital experience monitoring space with tools such as AppDynamics, DataDog, New Relic, Catchpoint, GlassBox, Quantum Metric, Full Story, and Blue Triangle.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills to convey technical value in business terms.
  • Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong desire to grow professionally and adapt to an ever-changing environment.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with instrumenting, configuring, and customizing real user monitoring agents for web and mobile apps.
  • Experience with leveraging query languages or business intelligence tools for performance analysis.
  • Advanced experience with web technologies such as JavaScript, Angular, React, HTML, and CSS.
  • Experience with session-replay tools and mobile frameworks like Cordova, Flutter, React Native, Xamarin, and .NET Maui.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Experience with modern technologies like containers, Kubernetes/OpenShift, Serverless functions, and CI/CD pipelines.
