About the position

As a Solutions Engineer specializing in Digital Experience Monitoring at Dynatrace, you will play a crucial role in supporting the sales team by providing technical expertise and executing demonstrations that showcase Dynatrace's unique solutions. This position involves managing proof of concepts, building relationships with customers, and collaborating with various teams to enhance customer experiences and drive sales opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Evangelize Dynatrace's product offerings during international trade shows and key customer meetings.
• Partner with sales representatives to identify new and incremental sales opportunities within existing accounts.
• Participate in proof of concept (PoC) creation and cloud architecture discussions, leading technical solution evaluations.
• Present Dynatrace's vision to C-suite executives of customers.
• Provide technical guidance during the Discovery, Solution Evaluation, and Solution Proposal stages of the sales cycle.
• Deliver on-stage demonstrations at industry events and ensure key demonstrations are executed effectively.
• Gather and provide customer feedback to Product Management to enhance market share.
• Build best practices and share knowledge within the team to improve capabilities.
• Identify learning and development opportunities for personal and team growth.
• Create and modify Dynatrace template presentations to meet customer demands.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent education or experience required.
• 5+ years of experience in digital experience monitoring with tools like AppDynamics, DataDog, New Relic, etc.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills to convey technical value in business terms.
• Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong desire to grow professionally and adapt to an ever-changing environment.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with instrumenting and customizing real user monitoring agents for web and mobile apps.
• Familiarity with query languages or business intelligence tools for data extraction.
• Advanced knowledge of web technologies such as JavaScript, Angular, React, HTML, and CSS.
• Experience with session-replay tools and mobile frameworks like Cordova and Flutter.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Experience with modern technologies like containers, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
