About The Position

The Digital Gift Processing Specialist is responsible for managing online gift imports and exports into the Cook Children's donor database, ensuring accurate and timely creation of donor and gift records. This role involves fundraising data entry and accounting functions to process gifts and pledges, while also providing team support for complex problems and assisting in training new staff.

Requirements

• High School Diploma required.
• Associate's degree or computer technical school experience preferred with emphasis in business.
• Experience with Raiser's Edge, Luminate Online, and Omatic required.
• Strong clerical skills and emphasis in accounting desirable.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and/or VBA highly preferred.
• Frequent use of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and other software tools required.
• Experience working in a nonprofit development setting preferred.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of working individually or within a team setting required.
• Ability to multi-task in an occasionally stressful environment.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in a nonprofit development setting.
• Skills in HTML, CSS, and/or VBA.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily online gift imports and exports into the donor database (Raisers Edge).
• Ensure timely and accurate creation of donor and gift records.
• Handle fundraising data entry and accounting functions to process gifts and pledges.
• Assist with complex problems and serve as a resource for data-related inquiries.
• Support the training of new staff members.
